Work location: Texas Health Kaufman- 850 Ed Hall Drive, Kaufman, TX 75142

Work hours: PRN- Nights

Emergency Department Highlights

  • Number two ED in the THR system for Patient Experience
  • Received a commendation award for excellent maternal/neonatal care
  • Active established UBC that collaborates with other departments

Here’s What You Need

  • Nursing Diploma in Nursing is required Or Associate's Degree in Nursing is required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing is preferred
  • 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse is required
  • 2 years of ER Experience as a Registered Nurse is strongly preferred
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 days is required And
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days is required And
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days is required Or
  • ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required And
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 months is required
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
